You know how everyone tells you things do not always go as expected?

Well, that’s exactly what I am experiencing right now.

I kind of lost track of The Odin Project.

Here`s why:

Loosing focus

After learning about JavaScript Classes & ES6 Modules I had a hard time grasping the concepts, but just sticked with the material.

I was just learning about Webpack, as I stumpeld upon a Job that seemed to be a perfect fit for me.

I decided to give it a shot and spent quite some time creating a full blown application as a presentation.

Altough the process was really fun, it took up a lot of my mental space and I derailed from my learning routine.

Not sticking to the curriculum

During my travels through Mexico I came across a topic that sparked my interest, leading to me creating a game.

It was really fun, especially because I got to spend time researching music, characters, open-source games etc.

But I totally got off track.

Next: Get back in the game

I have decided to get back on track, by silencing out things things that can potentially lead me off track.

Like social media.

I am taking time off twitter right now.

There are still some things I really want to learn like APIs, React and Backend which is why I do not want to quit at the moment.
